Prarambh me, Time Management keval vyavasayik ya kary gatividhiyo ko sandarbhit krta tha. Lekin bad me vyaktigat gatividhiyo ko bhi shamil krne ke liye is shabd ka vistar kiya gya. Ek Time Management pranali prakriyao, upkrno, takniko aur vidhiyo ka ek design kiya gya sanyojan hai. Samay prabandhan aamtaur pr kisi bhi pariyojna prabandhan me ek aavshyakta hai. Kyonki yah pariyojna ke pura hone ka samay aur dayra nirdharit krta hai. Yah samjhna bhi mahtvapurn hai ki samay prabandhan me takniki. Aur sanrachnatmak dono antar samay ki sanskrtik avadharanao me bhinnata ke karan maujud hai. 

Time Management pr sahity se utpann hone vale pramukh vishayo me nimnalikhit shamil hai:

1. Prabhavshilata ke liye anukul vatavaran bnana. 

2. Prathamiktao ka nirdharan.

3. Gair-prathamikatao pr kharch kiye gye samay ko kam krne ki sambandhit prakriya.

4. Lakshyo ka karyanvayan.
